I’ve been surfing guitar networks. I’ve gotta say, there is some really good stuff out there. Many of them are very impressive resources. So I wanted to share some of these places with you. You probably already have knowledge about some of these. However, I feel the Dojo should recognize them for their value anyway. They range from casual blogs to lessons, tips, instrument reviews, news and more. Check it out.
1. Fretbase – www.fretbase.com
Fretbase is a bit new, but they are making quite an impression across the web. This place provides gear reviews, a popular artist directory, and various kinds of musician news.
2. How To Tune A Guitar – www.howtotuneaguitar.org
HowToTuneAGuitar.org is a very valuable resource for all the different tunings for a guitar, as well as general guitar lessons, videos, chords, scales, and also has a forum community.
3. Strat-O-Blogster – www.stratoblogster.blogspot.com
If you love the world of the stratocaster, this blog delivers the goods. It sports reviews, resources, videos, and even a “current tune” player on the front page.
4. I-Heart-Guitar – www.iheartguitarblog.com
I-Heart-Guitar, is one of the web’s most notorious guitar blogs, packed full of reviews, news, lessons and more. They layout is very simple and the content is very to-the-point. Always a good read here.
5. Gear-Vault – www.gear-vault.com
If your looking into the market for a new weapon, this is the place to be. The Vault kicks out gear review, a classifieds panel, and a community that surrounds it, just to start with.
