About
I began this blog in December of 2008 as an inner observation of my time as a growing musician. It turned into an opportunity to help out other musicians improve their ability to learn and play their own music through means of improving themselves from within. The ideals I share here are you help you do just that. But it depends on how you choose to perceive them and more importantly, what you decide to do with them.
My Idea of Being a Musician
True musicianship isn’t just an idea or an aspect to who you are. It’s an entire way of life. Whether you own and play a simple classical guitar on the corner of a street or if you direct entire orchestras, this lifestyle is vital to everything revolving around your growth as a successful musician. It requires clear personal discipline, a consistently focused mind, a dedicated heart, and an unshakable spirit. It requires a deeply developed sense of creativity, originality, and motivation. Therefore the first key to learning and improving requires learning more about, and optimizing yourself in these areas.
